Winter hours in January and February:

The designer vineyard on the estate consists of 5.25 acres of grapes planted. The varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and an American Native called Niagara. These grapes are grown using the vertical shoot positioning and high 4-arm trellising systems. The vineyard prunes its vines annually in February and March.

Stony Knoll Vineyards also utilizes another 4-acre vineyard a half-mile up the road known as the famous William Cornelius Vineyard. This vineyard has Chambourcin, Merlot, and Viognier planted. A national award winning grape grower from California, Randy Ramey, grows these grapes for Stony Knoll Vineyards.

The estate has been in the family for at least 111 years. The winemaker is Lynn Crouse and he is a family member. The estate is privately owned by the Coe family. The elevation is approximately 1100 feet.
